Amidst the smothering coverage of President Obama’s speech in Cairo, there was a very fiery exchange between MSNBC host Tamron Hall and Republican strategist Alex Conant.
During a conversation about radio host and de facto GOP leader Rush Limbaugh’s comments comparing President Obama to Al-Qaeda, Alex begins reminiscing about Limbaugh’s challenge to MSNBC to not mention his name on air for 30 days.
Hall fired back:
“We have a right to cover people who are speaking out. This has nothing to do with this network. You tell me now if it is right — stop — to compare the President of the United States to Al-Qaeda. Do not try to call out this network for doing our job. Many people listen to this man, we have a responsibility to report all sides.”
Watch the entire exchange below, it is quite amusing. Plus, Bill Press said “balls” on-air:

Tamron is AWESOME.
And sexy as heck.
Wow. Just wow.
It’s about freakin’ time the media stopped making excuses for reporting!
Wow! I’ve never seen this Tameron person before. I LIKE her! More Tameron!
Oh, yeah! Sock it to ‘em, Sister!
If MSNBC has any hope of outgrowing the “two-sides-to-every-nontroversy” narrative, it will need more Tamerons.
I’ve been looking at Tamron on the TV and think she is the Bomb. ( If folks are still using that term.) But I know what can make her as famous as Soladad Obrien. If she would ask African American people in high places do they have a better social plan/solution (non-religious) for internal African American Problems than Kwanzaa, Nguzosaba, and the Kawaida philosophy. And if they are not familiar with it, why aren’t they? Should’nt our History, Culture and Human interests be just as important to us as White folks History, Culture and Human Interest is to them ? We keep sweeping it under the rug. I want to have dialog on this issue ! Please? Thank You Terry
Report all sides? MSNBC? That’s hysterical! Tamron IS hot. I’ll give her that.
Love Tamron’s feistyness. The woman can think on her feet. She’s also a damn good reporter, is charming, and very easy on the eyes.
Alas; we now are gettng less of Tamron and more of stuttering Dylan Ratigan and his cop hair. Life ain’t fair. Give us more cowbell. And more Tamron, too !
