BREAKING NEWS: Child in Sen. Hillary Clinton’s “3am Phone Ad” supports Sen. Barack Obama.

Photo taken from Clinton “Children” Ad
Casey Knowles, a High School Senior in Washington state, recently discovered she was one of the sleeping children in Clinton’s controversial “Children” ad appearing prior to the Texas primaries.
Knowles, a supporter of Barack Obama was shocked that she had contributed to the national security message of a candidate that she passionately opposes.
When asked by The New Argument, this is what Knowles had to say about her appearance in Clinton’s ad:
“While I love Hillary, I would much rather hear Barack Obama’s voice at the other end of the phone at 3am. Its hilarious and ironic that the child in Hillary’s ad is now of voting age and not her supporter. I’ve been campaigning for Barack since October and was a caucus precinct captain. I’ve been a very avid advocate of his and recruited a lot of folks to caucus for him in January. He’s inspired and mobilized so many already, he’s refreshing and quite simply the best option for people who want to change this country.”
King 5 News interviewed Casey Knowles and her family at their home after we broke the story. You may have to login to view the video…

It’s nice to know that Obama is inspiring our youth and future leaders to take an interest in what happens to our country. Inspiring hope and passion in these future leaders is truly what will keep our country safe in the long run.
Now, on to the investigative journalism of determining the political preferences of whoever played that spooked parent in the hallway.
How is possible to use someone’s image without her permission?
Hillary gets another call at 3AM…but it’s not for her:

Haha, that’s great.
Wow that is pretty weird. You would think Hillary would check into who is and is not supporting her before she would make a campaign ad? But thats how our country is run now days, whatever suits the gov. right at that time and place without really looking into things first. Bad call, Hillary!! I just hope Obama is for real change and not blowing smoke up our asses, like every other politician. Im so sick of this campaign crap already, But I am sooo happy Bushwacker is close to done!!!!!!! Just for the record I didnt vote for him and I now have no faith that the American people know how to make decisions that are best for our country!!! Its always about money! Nobody sees our rights are being diminished slowly but surely. REMEMBER OUR CONSTITUTION PEOPLE!!!
So she is now of voting age? I guess they took some stock footage from, how long ago? Perhaps the 2004 election? Either it was made for a home security company or Bush’s campaign. Plus, what’s up with the creepy, preppy, character who enters the room? Is that meant to be a caring parent or a terrorist? I think the latter. Where is that guy today? Can we get more info on what this footage was actually shot for?
It’s hilarious that the “party of the people” is going to nominate a man who wins the complicated electoral math, and not the nation-wide popular vote winner in 2008. (crunch the numbers, it’s exceedingly likely that when all is said and done Hilldawg will have had more people vote for her). I hope i see the same number of bumper stickers, and the same number of know-nothing hollywood hacks decrying obama’s “theft” of the election as I did when it was a republican screwing a democrat
Bottom Line: In an imaginary world, Hillary is the one that answers the phone. But in a real world, involving real people, not just images, Barack Obama is the one qualified to answer the phone.
This sums up Hillary’s experience - some people think she has it because she keeps saying she does, when in fact she doesn’t it.
its the same old thing with a new twist, when the going gets tough they all stoop to a new level of ad bite retardation, hillary is just the lesser of two evils against a true bullshitter with no experience alot of empty promises and a very conspicous leanings . Dumb ass ads have been running on tv ever since i started watching it , its no different now just more wide spread because of the media , and im not inspired buy some negro up and comming bullshitter that cant and wont deliver.
The children are wise and know who should be leading America. Obama is so far superior to hillary in every aspect that its sad to see women voting for hillary just because shes a woman too. As an elderly women, I can say that I want obama to answer that phone. Hillary should stay in the Senate and keep working for NY.
“passionately opposes” and ““While I love Hillary” don’t really go with each other, it’s more a case of preference.
However, how did the video get into the advert in the first place?!
Frankly, I think this is hilarious.
This sort sounds a little fishy. Where did Hillary’s ad get the footage from? When was it taken? How do we know it was the young lady in question? Was s he or family compensated for the footage? Like it or not it was an effective ad — in a society addicted to fear.
Please tell what change Obama or Clinton will give us. Not all change is good!
If Hillary is astute she should know that she is loosing default votes, meaning democrats that eventually, if she is the nominee, would hold their noses and vote for her. I am investigating if it is possible to write-in Obama, just in case.
Hillary’s DNA is republican,she was Goldwater girl in 1964, turn coat democrat after she met Bill . And great admirer of BOMBBOMB McCain.
When she made the video she signed all rights to whomever made it.
Ike, if you just take the votes from primary states, and ignore Michigan, where all the candidates agreed not to appear on the ballot but Hillary conveniently “forgot,” Obama currently has a slight lead on the popular vote. If you include votes from caucuses, Obama’s lead becomes huge, and is only going to get wider as the campaign goes on.
Of course, Hillary’s numbers don’t include caucuses, on the basis that they don’t count, and do include Michigan, presumably on the basis that it does. I don’t know about anyone else, but I want a President who lives in reality and not a fantasy land where votes against you don’t count, votes where you’re the only name on the ballot do, and John McCain would make a good Commander-in-Chief.
Getty owns the stock footage. It coulda been a couple walking hand in hand.
Meanwhile, here are a few reminders of what he’s about, since it’s been drowned out by stupid little crap lately…

“I could stand up here today and talk about that future - about our vision for America - but I know that we share similar views on this and that you’re pretty well-versed on the issues anyway.
So instead I’d like to talk a bit about what comes next for all of you - what happens after you leave the confines of college and head out into the real world.
Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. And it will leave you unfulfilled.
There’s a lot of talk in this country about the federal deficit. But I think we should talk more about our empathy deficit - the ability to put ourselves in someone else’s shoes; to see the world through those who are different from us - the child who’s hungry, the laid-off steelworker, the immigrant woman cleaning your dorm room.
Not only that - we live in a culture that discourages empathy. A culture that too often tells us our principle goal in life is to be rich, thin, young, famous, safe, and entertained. A culture where those in power too often encourage these selfish impulses.
They will tell you that the Americans who sleep in the streets and beg for food got there because they’re all lazy or weak of spirit. That the inner-city children who are trapped in dilapidated schools can’t learn and won’t learn and so we should just give up on them entirely. That the innocent people being slaughtered and expelled from their homes half a world away are somebody else’s problem to take care of.
I hope you don’t listen to this. I hope you choose to broaden, and not contract, your ambit of concern. Not because you have an obligation to those who are less fortunate, although you do have that obligation. Not because you have a debt to all of those who helped you get to where you are, although you do have that debt.”
Enthusiasm tilts toward Obama in Pa.

“Amid the partisanship and bickering of today’s public debate, he still believes in the ability to unite people around a politics of purpose - a politics that puts solving the challenges of everyday Americans ahead of partisan calculation and political gain.
In the Illinois State Senate, this meant working with both Democrats and Republicans to help working families get ahead by creating programs like the state Earned Income Tax Credit, which in three years provided over $100 million in tax cuts to families across the state. He also pushed through an expansion of early childhood education, and after a number of inmates on death row were found innocent, Senator Obama worked with law enforcement officials to require the videotaping of interrogations and confessions in all capital cases.
As a member of the Veterans’ Affairs Committee, Senator Obama has fought to help Illinois veterans get the disability pay they were promised, while working to prepare the VA for the return of the thousands of veterans who will need care after Iraq and Afghanistan. Recognizing the terrorist threat posed by weapons of mass destruction, he traveled to Russia with Republican Dick Lugar to begin a new generation of non-proliferation efforts designed to find and secure deadly weapons around the world. And knowing the threat we face to our economy and our security from America’s addiction to oil, he’s working to bring auto companies, unions, farmers, businesses and politicians of both parties together to promote the greater use of alternative fuels and higher fuel standards in our cars.”
His opponent went to work for a company that repressed its workers, women and men, for years, aiding the company in its efforts. His opponent held onto shares of its stock until it became politically inconvenient. As she often does.
By the numbers - “Popular vote” - not counting Michigan since only Hilary’s name was on the ballot. Also not counting caucuses - Hillary - 12,760,186; Obama 12,841,258. This makes Obama the “popular” vote candidate. Mind you these numbers also include Florida where Obama didn’t campaign but Hillary held “support meetings”
Had Michigan and Florida been done correctly with both candidates campaigning and showing on the ballot, who knows how those numbers would have changed.
Out of 12 caucuses thus far Hillary has won only one and placed 3rd in one. Out of 12 caucuses thus far Obama has won eleven and came in 2nd in one.
By the numbers Obama has won the largest number of states while not winning the states with the largest populations (e.g. Florida, California).
Good for Knowles for speaking out! She is a typical young Obama supporter: in other words, an extraordinary young person!

Please tell what change Obama or Clinton will give us. Not all change is good!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1–Stop spending $12 billions per WEEK in Iraq and invest that in improving life at home.
2–Actually take care of veterans instead of trying to cut their health care, signup bonuses, breaks at home, etc like the Bush administration.
3–Stop the all-out assault on our environment. And do something about climate change, which everyone in their right mind (or who likes facts) knows is an incredibly pressing issue.
4–Make us the last developed country in the world to give all its citizens have access to health care.
5–Bring us back from being the giant bully of the world, to a country that other people actually respect.
Shall I go on? I just hope the Bush hasn’t done this country so much damage that it can’t be repaired.
P.S. Go Obama!
Clinton lied about the memo sent to the press about the Canadian’s, I will trust her ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What’s more, Casey Knowles sounds like a superb young woman whose ideals match Obama’s perfectly. I found a local newspaper story from last summer, about a student government retreat at her high school, with a quote that nails what Obama supportes are all about. More on VichyDems, but here’s a snip:
Bonney Lake High School in Washington State is relatively new. This year, for instance, it has its first male student government President. And, to prepare for the upcoming school year, its student government representatives held a retreat last summer to plan for the year, reported in the Puyallup (WA) Herald. In that article, one student leader summarized the hope that those young, bright, engaged future leaders wanted to bring, not to American politics, but just to their own high school’s new school year:
Public Relations Officer Casey Knowles, another senior, said she has high hopes for this year’s student government.
“We’re a group that wants change,” Knowles said.
You Obama people are starting to sound just like Republicans in the 90’s who hated Clinton. All of your posts just spew venom and hate. I’m already kind of afraid of the Obama supporters, I heard one on tv already predicting 1968 turmoil if Obama is not “crowned” king of the Democrats. Believe me, it’s not the 3am phonecall commercial scaring people, it’s some of the off the chart Obama supporters.
Thank you Casey,
The news of the Clinton’s, 3am ad is a roaring laugh! It pleased me completely.
God truly works in mysterious ways. HE, has brought Clinton’s, bad actions to LIGHT!! That’s what she gets for trying to take honest OBAMA down to her low level.
VOTE, OBAMA, OBAMA, OBAMA!!
You talk like Hillary Clinton.
All hate and no LOVE!!
That comment No. 27 was for Kevin!
Senator Barack Obama is the best candidate for peace in the world. The world needs him.
Fascinating turn of events.
I understand Casey also volunteered as an OBAMA PRECINCT CAPTAIN! She’ll be on Good Morning America this week - so set your recorders folks - the joke is on Hillary… again.
And Leo, so life is good for you? You approve of what the Clinton presidency lead us to - the Bush years and the Democrats in power acting like “beaten wives”? You like that CEO’s justify their millions of dollars, making 400 times their average employee while stagnating and bankrupting the companies and the nation? You approve of $3.27/gln on gas? You getting much from your health insurance? What about dental? Can you afford the deductible AND co-pay. You approve of torture? You approve of your tax dollars being spent in hiring zero-bid contractors in Iraq who’s company payroll goes through other countries and no income tax is being paid back in the American economy? You like that more of your tax dollars have been spent rebuilding Iraq than your own nation?
While there is a certainly an amusing irony to this story, I’m not sure why it’s “news”. Really, a kid in stock footage has grown up and supports Barack Obama? Her parents obviously signed a general release, so the footage is available to anyone who wants to buy it. The
I think it’s great to see Obama’s motivation of millions of young people, but the opinion of Casey Knowles means no more than any other of his supporters. Good for her getting airtime and speaking out, however, I can’t help but ask “so what?” about her 15 minutes of fame.
I voted for Obama on Super Tuesday, but the attention (and glee) this generates makes me wonder if what I did was the right thing. It’s pretty meaningless and I wonder why it’s being capitalized upon. It’s a little too much like politics as usual when a non-event is exploited. I see enough of that from Hillary and 99% of other politicians. Seeing it in Obama’s campaign makes me a little sad. I want real change.
ROFL, you have to check this new rendition of the 3 am call!
http://www.comedy.com/video/hillary-s-3-am-call
This is so funny! I can’t beleive that Clinton would be so foolish as to put a person who likes Obama in her 3AM commercial. I am really not sure she is cut out to win this race.
thats were the video came, since the girl is about 18, then some of you might remember some railroad add back in 1998.
The file footage was originally shot for a railroad company advertisement. The Clinton campaign
bought it from Getty Images.
Senator Obama is intelligent, caring, honest, handsome and compassionate.
Have you guys seen the video of him trading jobs with a housekeeper??
I know Hilary would never do that.. ( she is too arrogant)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=miUS7WnMgBw
What really got me about the ad in the first place was the creepy adult coming into the child’s room. If you look carefully, it’s an adult male with a blue button down shirt with an undershirt peeking out…and he looks like he has an afro. He’s slipping into this child’s room…at 3 a.m. when “something’s happened in the world?” When noone but Hillary knows about it? This ad was so evil. It played on white people’s fear of black men at a deeply unconscious level, and it pretended that it was about “who you wanted to be on the other end of the phone.” Am I the only one who noticed this?
Have you seen Obama’s poll numbers dropping below Hillary’s and Independents going back over to John McCain. That 3AM Phonecall was nothing compared to that Hate-Filled Obama’s Pastor speech in the Church Pulpit. I’ll stay away from Obama’s hate regime, thank you.
Have you Obama synchophants noticed his Droppppppppppppppp
in the Polls since the Rev.Wright Speech? It wasn’t the 3am video commercial that hurt him, it was the Rev. Wright speech. He’s a damaged candidate, Independents and white voters heading for the Hills……
Obama is a limping candidate. The GOP will make mincemeat out of him and his preacher with commercials non-stop.
Breaking News,Obama’s Poll Numbers dropppppppppppping.
He’s toast in the general election, the GOP will make mincemeat out of him. He’ll get the black vote, but good luck on getting any other voters after his Spiritual Advisor said GdDmn America…….
Obama ia a con man with no experience , he’s never held a job where does his money come from…..Reskov?????????, I can’t believe after 911, People are considering putting a Muslim descent person in Office.
